The Town of Ashland is hiring for 2 Positions. The Deputy Town Clerk Position is a 32-40 hour a week with benefits position. The Deputy Clerk is responsible for day to day financial transactions, collection of taxes, various financial reporting and analysis, and local and town elections. Qualifications include experience using the Town TRIO program. Individuals must work well with the public. Office hours are Mon-Thurs 7:30am-4:30pm, Fridays 7:30am-12pm. Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check and a financial background check.
The Town of Ashland is also hiring a Laborer in the Public Works Department. This is a full time position of 40 hours with benefits, subject to On Call hours in the winter months. Candidates should have mechanical skills, work well with others, and the ability to perform semi-skilled manual labor outside and in all types of environments. Candidates must successfully pass a criminal background check and random drug tests.
