Code Enforcement Rates

Code Enforcement Officer is available in the Office on Tuesdays 7:30am -4:30pm, or by email at ceo@townofashland.org

Application for a Building or Demolition Permit is Required for all newly constructed, altered, enlarged, and demolished structures. All new uses of land or structure and changes of use or occupancy require a permit from the Code Enforcement Officer. 


The following schedule of fees shall apply:

 

Residential:

Construction Up to a Value of  $500.00.....................................................................$10.00

$501.00 To 10,000.00......................................................................................................$15.00

$10,000.00 and Above  = .002 Times the Value up to ..............................................$200.00

 

Commercial:

Construction Up to a Value of  $500.00.....................................................................$10.00                                                                                                   

$501.00 To 10,000.00........................................................................................................$15.00    

$10,000.00 and Above  = .002 Times the Value up to ..............................................$400.00      

 

Other Fees:

Variance or Administrative Appeals.......................................................................$30.00 plus Costs

Certificate of Occupency............................................................................................$25.00

• 1 ACRE LOT/43,560 SQUARE FEET OR GREATER
• 22,500 SQUARE FEET IF SERVED PUBLIC WATER/SEWER
